Members can participate in riding lessons with other Mines students, compete through the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA), or spend time around horses through volunteering or watching lessons.
We have our English team riding out of Coventry Farms in Littleton and will look into expanding to include a Western team if there is enough interest.

‘Climb Together Night’ Rock Climbing Social
Mines ORC is dedicating a night for Mines Equestrian Team at the ORC Rock Climbing Wall in the Rec Center! There will be free shoe and harness rentals and staff available for belaying. Stop by to meet our club and have some fun!

General Meeting
Our general meetings are open to everyone! There will be information on future events and activities and time to socialize or do homework together after all priority tasks are taken care of. Late arrivals are welcomed (and planned for), all important information will be repeated around 2pm so those with 1pm classes can still be involved.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a horse?
Nope! Our trainers supply the lesson horses at no additional cost.
What if I have never ridden before?
No prior experience is needed! Anyone from a first-time rider to an advanced rider is welcome to ride with us.
What do I need to do to become a member?
We don’t have any club dues or requirements, you can email mineseqteam@gmail.com or come to one of our meetings if you are interested in joining! We do not require members to participate in any events to stay members, but we highly recommend being active and involved!
How do I get to lessons?
If you have access your own car, Coventry Farms is about a 25 minute drive from campus. If you don’t have access to a car, you can carpool with members of the same or an earlier lesson.
