SUSPENSION.

They Go Low, We Go Lower

Suspension is tasked with keeping the tires of the car in contact with the road and optimizing the handling and stability of the car during all stages of competition. Different suspension setups are tuned to each event, optimizing the car for each different task it is asked of it. Overall, the suspension tuning targets the fastest times in each event. The skill of balancing cornering speed with acceleration, and many other factors, is developed for Mines Formula’s Suspension Engineers.

Suspension Engineers dive deep into geometry, dynamics, and part design. Using fundamental engineering techniques such as Finite Element Analysis, Solid Mechanics, and Computer Aided Design, Suspension Engineers iterate upon the suspension year after year to bring Mines Formula its fastest car yet.

Overall, Suspension enables and optimizes the car to put its power on the ground and set the fastest lap possible.
