SWE SHadows
The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) invites you to participate in the SWE Shadows. The program provides an opportunity for transfer students to get to know the Mines campus and community. By participating in SWE Shadows, you will accompany a SWE member to one of their classes and attend a SWE Wednesday lunch meeting with them as well.
For this fall 2021 semester, the SWE Shadow events are on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, and Wednesday, November 17, 2021. Once you sign up, you will be contacted to decide what portions of the event you would like to participate in so that we can match you with one of our amazing hosts. We are excited to introduce you to Mines and the great community here!
The required activities are:

12:00 – 12:50 p.m. | SWE weekly lunch meeting, spent with the SWE host, free lunch included with a professional development speaker.

11:00 – 11:50 a.m. or 1:00 – 1:50 p.m. | Class shadowing with the SWE host.
The optional activities are:

9:30 – 10:50 a.m. | Campus tour and info session, sign up through admissions.

1:00 – 1:30 p.m. or 2:00 – 2:30 p.m. | Coffee with your SWE host, either after the SWE weekly lunch or after the afternoon class shadowing.
