The Colorado School of Mines SEG Student Chapter is requesting help from all our supporters! We are working to create an endowment that would support our economic geology students. Our goal is to execute one large international field trip and one to two domestic field trips each year.
With an endowment, funding for such trips would be secured, allowing the chapter more time to organize seminars and workshops. These support the education of students, alongside the field trips.
An initial target of $25,000 will allow us to establish the endowment account. We would like to reach this goal by the end of the year. In the highly unlikely event that we cannot raise the minimum required amount by December 31, 2021, we would use your donation to support the 2022 trip to Kazakhstan.
