Throughout the school year, our organization holds events that help represent SASE in our community. Here are a few.

2019-2020 School Year

SASE SPIRIT WEEK

This is a week dedicated to celebrate SASE!  This year’s Mines spirit week is October 28th to November 1st.  The actual SASE Spirit week is actually November 4th to November 8th.   Everyone can come and participate in the celebration!  Below is a schedule for spirit week!

Monday 10/28 – SASE Pride Day

                    Wear SASE Colors! (Blue and Green)

Tuesday 10/29 – Cultural Awareness Day

                     Participate in the Chopstick Challenge. Test your skills to get some candy at MEP from 11am to 2pm!

Wednesday 10/30 – SASE Poster and School Spirit Day

                    Wear any Mines gear you have! Also stop by MEP during the day to help decorate a SASE poster we’ll have hanging up.

Thursday 10/31 – Faculty Advisor Appreciation

                    Stop by Holly Eklund’s office in Stratton 210 after 3:15pm to take a picture with her and send those photos to Ryan                                                    at  respinoza@mymail.mines.edu 

Friday 11/1 – SASE Birthday! (Actual birthday on November 7th)

                             Stop by MEP for some cake to celebrate SASE’s 12th birthday!

SASE Festival

This is our yearly traditional event where we invite anyone in the community to come celebration the asian culture!  This year it will be on February 21st, 2020.  The festival will have food, games, and performances throughout the night.  Please feel free to stop by!
