About SAFEzone

SAFEzone is a interactive 90 minute to 2 hour training designed for faculty, staff, and students. This training is an opportunity to learn about LGBTQ+ identities, gender and sexuality, and examine prejudice, assumptions, and privilege. Administered by representatives of Mines’ oSTEM chapter, we hope to foster an inclusive environment on campus

Those who complete the training recieve a placard to display that they are an inclusive space for members of the LBGTQ+ community. They can also be added to the below lists of SAFEzone trained faculty, staff, and students
