I’m a third-year mining engineering student and serve as the president for CSMMRT. I am passionate about emergency preparedness and enjoy working in high-functioning teams. As part of mine rescue, I’ve competed in medical, underground, and rope rescue events.
Vice President: Kaylee Kipp
I’m Kaylee Kipp, Vice President of Mine Rescue. I love my job because I get to make sure the club runs smoothly and organize all the other officers to ensure that their roles fit together, making practices smooth.

I love tunnels and all things underground! My favorite part of mine rescue is the camaraderie and benching the BG4.

My name is Logan Cooper, I am a freshman in Mining Engineering. I love mine rescue and I am excited to be in the role of trainer.
Team Technical Officer Apparatus: Jacob Olson
My name is Jacob Olson, a junior in Mining Engineering focusing on shaft sinking and deep underground operations. Having interned in both room-and-pillar and underhand cut-and-fill environments, I have seen firsthand the immense value mine rescue brings to the industry. I find benching particularly fascinating because it combines the life-saving technicality of breathing apparatuses with a high-stakes competitive environment and the unique camaraderie of our bench team.
Team Technical Officer Gas: Ryan Torline
I’m Ryan Torline, I’m a Junior at Colorado School of Mines, I enjoy to community around mine rescue and the oppertunties to learn about technolgies and techniques than keep us safe underground.
Medical Officer: Annasophia (Ani) Palacios-Wilhelm
Hello there. I’m Anni and I’m the chief medic for CSM MRT. I’m planning on getting my EMT certification over the summer. I joined MRT because I love emergency medicine and quick thinking.
Media Officer: William Aguilar
I’m Will, I manage the online presence of CSM Mine Rescue team, I enjoy working with the team to help boost recruitment and maybe help things run a little more smoothly. I also plan on working more closely with sponsors to help keep the club funded and ensure the club can compete across the county and beyond.
