DRIVER INTERFACES.
We Never Take The Backseat
The Driver Interfaces subsystem on a Formula SAE team encompasses all components the driver interacts with to control the vehicle, including the brake system, steering wheel, seat, throttle pedal, and clutch handle. The brake system, a key element, must provide reliable stopping power and modulation, while the steering wheel and pedals must be ergonomically designed for precision and responsiveness. Additionally, the seat and harness system must securely support the driver, ensuring stability under high-speed cornering and braking forces. Effective design and integration of these components enhance driver confidence and overall vehicle performance. Our goal is to ensure driver comfort, control, and safety while maximizing performance on the track.
